Humble Administrator's Garden
- The largest Garden in Suzhou and of the four most famous classical
gardens in China, it was built in 1513 A.D. with pavilions, terraces,
towers, rooms, Halls, Lake-side arbors and other forms of Iandscape
architecture centering round stretches of waters.
Garden of Master of Nets
- Built in 1174 A.D. during the Song Dynasty, it is characteristic of most
exquisite Garden-houses in Suzhou.
- The western court of the garden with the Peony cottage is the
original model, form which. the Ming Hall In the Metroplitan Museum of
Art in New York, city, U.S.A. was copied.
Lion Grove Garden
- A Buddhist monk had it built in 1342 A.D. during the Yuan Dynasty, It
is Noted for its labyrinth with a forest of peak-like stones, winding
paths and caves.
Surgin Waves Pavilion Garden
- Simple and restrained, the garden id the oldest in Suzhou, dating
back to 1044 A.D. in the Song Dynasty. The successful combination of the
garden with a canal from outside makes it known far and wide.
Tiger Hill
- The Tiger Hill is the most famous sight of Suzhou with old trees and
cultural relics everywhere--the Sword Testing Stone, the Broken Beam
Hall, Thousand Men Rock, Sword Pond, etc. The millennium-old Yunyan
Pagoda, also known as the leaning Tower, stands on top of the hill and is
regarded as the symbol os Suzhou. "It's a pity of a lifetime if you have
been to Suzhou but missed the Tiger Hill" said Su Shi, the Song Poet.

North Temple Pagoda
- Built in 1153 A.D. and repaired several times during the Ming and
Qing dynasties, the 76-metre-high padoda, also named after the Temple of
Gratitude, is the highest pagoda in the area south of the lower reaches
of the Yangtze River.
